- summary: A mooring with a surface buoy has been maintained at a location on the 100-m isobath approximately three miles off Del Mar, CA. Instrumentation on the buoy includes a suite of meteorological sensors, sensors for surface water temperature, salinity, oxygen concentration, fluorescence, nutrients and currents. Further sensors on the mooring wire extend the measurements down into the water column.
